I use Grok to write code and Grok Bot to run a team of bots that works alongside me: they look after my products, my website, my podcast and my calendar. This page explains how I have it set up. It is a personal page, not an xAI or SpaceXAI one.

I have used Grok Bot since this summer, when I moved my whole AI stack from Claude to Grok. My bots each have a specific job. Elon is my right hand and orchestrates the rest: he takes what I ask for and hands it out. The team is listed on /equipo/, in two groups.

En Grok Bot todos los bots comparten el mismo ordenador en la nube: los archivos y las sesiones son de la cuenta, no de cada bot. Por eso no los uso como frontera de seguridad.

In Grok Bot every bot shares the same cloud computer: files and sessions belong to the account, not to each bot. That is why I do not treat them as a security boundary.

Rober, mi entrenadormy coach

Rober es mi bot entrenador en Grok Bot. Lee mis datos de LiftCoach, mi app de gimnasio para iPhone y Apple Watch: entrenamientos, rutinas, ejercicios, nutrición, planes de comida y entrenos de Apple Health. Lo hace a través de un conector MCP que monté yo, con OAuth e Iniciar sesión con Apple. Le puedo preguntar cómo voy con el press de banca o pedirle una rutina nueva. Lo que propone no se aplica solo: llega a la bandeja de la app y yo decido si lo acepto.

Rober is my coaching bot in Grok Bot. It reads my data from LiftCoach, my own gym app for iPhone and Apple Watch: workouts, routines, exercises, nutrition, meal plans and Apple Health workouts. It does that through an MCP connector I built, with OAuth and Sign in with Apple. I can ask it how my bench press is going or ask for a new routine. Nothing it proposes is applied directly: it lands in the app's inbox and I decide whether to accept it.

I ask it about my routines and my meals, which machine to use when the one I want is taken, and how hard to push each workout. I have used it since I created it, in the summer.

Empecé a programar con Grok en julio de 2026, después de meses con Claude. Hoy casi todo lo que programo me lo resuelve Grok, dentro de Cursor. Lo he ido contando en el blog: por qué lo probé, qué cambió con cada versión y por qué acabé cancelando Claude Max.

I started coding with Grok in July 2026, after months on Claude. Today Grok solves almost everything I code, inside Cursor. I have written about it on the blog: why I tried it, what changed with each version and why I ended up cancelling Claude Max.

Tengo un podcast en español sobre lo que hago y lo que leo. Desde la segunda temporada lo produzco con Grok y lo narra la voz Leo de Grok. El primer episodio con Leo fue, precisamente, sobre mi primer experimento con Grok Bot: le dejé instalar y probar un plugin que estaba desarrollando, y encontró un caso que se me había pasado.

I have a Spanish-language podcast about what I build and what I read. Since season two I produce it with Grok and it is narrated by Grok's Leo voice. The first episode with Leo was, fittingly, about my first experiment with Grok Bot: I let it install and test a plugin I was building, and it found a case I had missed.

Here is how the work is split: Grok, through my bot Elon, writes the script in my voice from my blog posts, records it with Grok's Leo voice using the grok CLI on the M6, and edits it with the season's intro and outro. I listen to it and give the OK before it goes out.

La mudanza al Mac mini M6Moving to the Mac mini M6

Hasta octubre de 2026 un Mac mini M4 lo hacía todo: servía la web y el blog, los scripts programados, LiftCoach y además era donde programaba. Con un Mac mini M6 en casa he repartido el trabajo. El M4 queda como mi servidor, sin pantalla. El M6 (12 núcleos, 32 GB de memoria unificada, 1 TB) es la máquina de trabajo: ahí programo y ahí vive Ollama, que redacta los avisos de mi servidor con modelos locales.

Until October 2026 a Mac mini M4 did everything: it served the website and the blog, the scheduled scripts and LiftCoach, and it was also where I wrote code. With a Mac mini M6 at home I have split the work. The M4 stays as my headless server. The M6 (12 cores, 32 GB of unified memory, 1 TB) is my work machine: I code there, and it runs Ollama, which writes my server's alerts with local models.

App de barra de menús que muestra el porcentaje de uso semanal de Grok Build, la misma cifra que /usage. Al pulsar enseña el plan, el límite semanal (ventana móvil de 7 días), el desglose por producto (Build, Chat…), los créditos mensuales si la API los envía y un pequeño historial. No hay que tener Grok Build abierto ni instalado.

Menu bar app that shows your weekly Grok Build usage percentage, the same figure as /usage. Click it to see your plan, the weekly limit (rolling 7-day window), the breakdown by product (Build, Chat…), monthly credits when the API sends them, and a small history. Grok Build does not need to be installed or running.
