Installation

Coming soon

The plugin is not published yet. The ZIP download, source repository and Moodle directory listing are coming soon.

Option A — ZIP upload

  1. Get the plugin ZIP (coming soon).
  2. Go to Site administration → Plugins → Install plugins and upload it.
  3. Follow the installer.

Option B — Copy the folder

  1. Copy the plugin directory to local/mcpserver in the Moodle code tree. On Moodle 5.x that path is public/local/mcpserver.
  2. Visit Site administration → Notifications and install the plugin.

Folder name matters

The folder must be local/mcpserver. Entry points find config.php from the script path, so the same tree works in both the 4.5 and 5.x layouts.

After installing

Open Site administration → Plugins → Local plugins → MCP server.

Apache with PHP-FPM

Apache with PHP-FPM does not pass the Authorization header to PHP unless you allow it. Without it, the Bearer token never arrives and every call gets HTTP 401. Add this to the virtual host or to the Moodle directory:

CGIPassAuth On

If your Apache build has no CGIPassAuth, copy the header instead:

SetEnvIf Authorization "(.*)" HTTP_AUTHORIZATION=$1

Check the configuration with apachectl configtest and reload Apache gracefully.
