Event logging¶
The plugin triggers three Moodle events. They appear in the standard Moodle logs.
| Event class | Name | CRUD | Data |
|---|---|---|---|
\local_mcp\event\tool_called |
MCP tool called | read | userid; courseid when the tool works on a course; other: tool (name), status (success or error), summary (short argument summary). |
\local_mcp\event\token_issued |
MCP access token issued | create | Table local_mcp_token; userid and relateduserid; other: clientid, scopes, tokentype. |
\local_mcp\event\token_revoked |
MCP token revoked | update | Table local_mcp_token; userid and relateduserid; other: reason, tokentype. |
build_course runs as a background task; when it finishes, the task triggers its own tool_called event for build_course with the final status.
All three use education level "other".
- In the argument summary, argument names that look like tokens, secrets or passwords are redacted.
- Raw tokens are never logged.
